Feel at home, in Italy

My Italian practice was just natural and fun and I wasn’t afraid of making mistakes.

I came to Milan quite sceptical: I’d always heard that Milan is not worth visiting. But Giulia made me fall in love with this city and want to come back!

First of all she made it very easy to explore Milan:

I didn’t need to plan and prepare at all, and not only you showed me all the “must visit” sites, but also a lot of places I would not be able to find by myself.

And on top of this you made this city more “alive” for me by telling about its history, stories, and traditions of past and present.

Another thing I enjoyed a lot was sharing some places from her own life, because it helped imagine Milan not just like a yet another famous touristic destination, but also a city where real people live and life is happening.

I'd absolutely recommend visiting Italy with Giulia!

Her love for Italy and Milan is very contagious and she made navigating through unknown places with a new language easy and fun.

My Italian practice was just natural and fun.

Real people could understand me, and I wasn’t afraid of making mistakes.

No stress, no worries, no anxiety which one usually has when comes to new places.

Giulia is really authentic, so you feel you can be yourself in her company.

I wanted an opportunity to practice and stretch my Italian without distraction, in a context where I could speak and listen on a range of topics rather than just transactional language for travelling.

I had found Giulia’s podcast the previous year and really enjoyed the clarity with which she speaks, and her enthusiasm for language and history, so her was my first choice for an immersion trip.

There was plenty of clear information provided before signing up, so I didn't really have fears.

I really enjoyed the meals and aperitivi we had together at the house in Stresa, on the Lake Maggiore —it was fun and natural. The balance between cultural visits, relaxing/eating/drinking, time together, and time alone was perfect.

Giulia is calm, warm, organised and enthusiastic. She listens carefully and provides just the right amount of support with vocabulary and correction, enabling you to express yourself as fluently as possible.

She's really authentic and so you feel you can be yourself in her company.

I'd 100 per cent recommend a viaggio studio with Giulia. Your language will improve without it feeling like work.

Tutte ci siamo sentite speciali e abbiamo sempre parlato italiano!

Mi è piaciuto molto che – secondo me – tutte ci siamo sentite speciali e trattate allo stesso modo, senza favoritismi.

Abbiamo sempre parlato italiano, con spiegazioni solo in italiano adatte a tutti i livelli.

Hai avuto molta pazienza e tutto è stato organizzato con grande cura, senza rigidità.

Grazie mille!

Giulia is very knowledgeable about Italian history, places to visit, and points of interest, and she has a great way of sharing that knowledge, adding depth and excitement to our tour.

She is very warm, friendly, and personable and it is a pleasure to spend time with her.

Travelling with her is a fantastic opportunity to explore the North of Italy with a knowledgeable and delightful companion!

I liked the familiar atmosphere, the cultural diversity and the balance between activities and free time to explore solo whenever I felt I needed to.

It was a great opportunity to be fully immersed in the Italian culture and in such a picturesque region of the north of Italy, Macugnaga. Before joining, I felt I was not able to maintain a fluent conversation, however, when I left after a few days, I felt the opposite and it was such a motivating feeling!

It helped me realise how much I love the language and gave me exactly what I needed to continue improving it.

I liked the familiar atmosphere, the cultural diversity and the balance between activities and free time to explore solo whenever I felt I needed to.

Giulia always tried to think of the group first and make sure everyone was comfortable.

She was very flexible in adjusting to the group's needs, which I and the others really appreciated. She is open, talkative, strict when it comes down to making sure we were speaking in Italian but also understanding when we needed some relaxing time to let our brain pause for a minute.

I really enjoyed being around her as it felt there was no one who knew the region as well as she did.

Try it! To me, a few days felt more worth it and productive than hours and hours in online lessons!
